Active 4D has exceeded it's time limit

Applies to: DVMAX 8.5

If you get an alert stating 'Active4D has exceeded it's time limit' when you try to access a custom report, it is because the license being used for it is not being detected correctly. In future versions of DVMAX, we will correct this automatically, but in the meantime you can follow the below steps to permanently correct it on your own system.

Remove Old License Key

  1. Go to the computer that has DVMAX Server on it.
  2. Navigate to the Licenses folder in the DVMAX Server application
    1. Windows
      1. Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\DVMAXPractice\DVMAXServerFolder\Licenses\com.aparajita\Active4D\
      2. Delete the Active4D.OEM-DVMAX.key
    2. Macintosh
      1. Navigate to Applications, then open the DVMAXPractice folder.
      2. Right click the Server Application and click Show Package Contents
      3. Open Contents, then Licenses, then open the com.aparajita folder, then Active4D folder.
      4. Delete the Active4D.OEM-DVMAX.key

Restart DVMAX Server

To finalize the fix, you will need to relaunch the DVMAX Server application at your convenience. You do NOT need to restart the entire computer. Wait a minute before relaunching the DVMAX Server application, to give the app time to close the web ports before reopening.
