Verify the Web Server is running with a valid IP address

  • Section pull-down / System Constants / User Settings
  • Under the Web: section, Click Start Web Server
  • Enter a Valid port number (the default is 7500 or 7501 and can be left as such)
  • Click Set Port ID
  • Display Test Page - If you click yes, a DVMAX Practice Login screen should appear
    • If the login screen does not appear, your IT tech should confirm that the port number entered is not being blocked by any firewalls on the server

"I only get a login screen in my web browser when I click on the Custom Report"

Some custom reports require an additional level of security to ensure the user has access to view the financial information. Users must log in using a DVMAX user name and password that has access to Practice Financials.
