DVMAX v8.7 introduced an internal message board that lets you send messages to one or more DVMAX staff record. The message board feature is accessed from the new Messages icon in the Command Palette and opens in a browser window in the same way as the Scheduler and Boarding facilities. You can send chat-type messages or task-based requests to other DVMAX users or workstations. Pending message notifications are shown on the Messages dialog and the Messages icon on the Palette. The documentation links below will help your practice configure the feature and put this helpful new feature in place at your practice.
