  • Log into DVMAX as the Administrator user
  • While holding down the Shift key, choose System Constants from the Section pull-down
  • Read the warning and click, I Understand
  • In the filter section, search for the word Granular
  • Change the setting mgmt.useGranularAccess to True
  • Close the Advanced Settings window
  • Quit the DVMAX Client application
  • Log back in as the Administrator user
  • Reopen Advanced Settings
    • While holding down the Shift key, choose System Constants from the Section pull-down
    • Read the warning and click, I Understand
  • In the folder filter section, search for the word Access. You should see a list of settings that start with mgmt.accessFor.Administrator.to.(report name).
  • By default, the value for all users and reports is True, based on the setup in “Set Passwords & Users”. Change the value to False for any user and report you want to disable access for. For example, if you want to disallow the Staff user from the Audit Trail Detail report, find the setting mgmt.accessFor.Staff.To.AuditTrailDetailReport and set the value to False. If the setting is False, the report will not show in the list of available reports when logged in as that user.
