Due to the vast amount of email and internet providers that have the ability to specify their own custom security levels for sending and receiving email, we have compiled a list of providers that have been tested and work with DVMAX.

Please note that DVMAX version 7.0.12 and below does not have the ability to send email through a provider that requires SSL. |
* These providers require you to be on their network using their internet for you to send email out. If you are not on their network you must use port 587 instead of port 25.
** You can apply the port and SSL option in the advanced settings area of DVMax, see below.
There are other settings you should consider configuring in DVMAX before using the email feature. To get to these settings:
Change the value to 0 if your host requires TLS or doesn't use any security.
Setting email.sendSSL to '0' will set the mode to standard (no security), but starting with DVMAX 8.6 if the email server asks for TLS, DVMAX will upgrade its connection to TLS |
