- Get the Macintosh CUPS Driver directly from the Star Micronics website. For reference, the printer is model TSP700.

Scroll down and download the recommended driver. - Unzip the downloaded installer, then open the starcupsdrv folder, then the Driver folder.
- Double click the starcupsdrv.pkg file to begin installation.
- Follow the prompts in the installer until it is finished.
- Connect the power source to the back of the printer and into an outlet.
- Turn the printer on
- Connect the USB to the back of the printer and then into your Macintosh computer.
- Go to the Apple menu and choose System Preferences.
- Click the Printers & Scanners icon.
