Configure Folder Permissions to share the DVMAX Images Folder

Mounting The Share on Macintosh Workstations
This step should be performed by your IT technician and step takes place on your DVMAX Client computer.
Note: Insure that no programs are running and that Personal File Sharing is enabled. The steps below must be repeated on each workstation in the practice (not the server).
1. Click the Go menu at the top of the screen.
2. Click Connect to Server.
3. Enter the IP address of your DVMAX Server (or the workstation on which the DVMAX Images folder is located) & click the connect button.
4. When prompted - choose Registered User.
5. Enter the Administrator username and password for the Server & place a check in the Remember password in keychain option.
6. Click the Connect button & a list of shares will appear.
7. Locate the DVMaxImages Mount, select it and click the OK button.
8. The DVMaxImages Mount should now be on your desktop. It will remain connected unless the workstation loses its connection to the server or a user disconnects the share.
9. If you would like the share to automatically connect after logging in, go into
System Preferences, and click on the Users & Groups icon. Next, click on your user account, click the Login Items button, and click the "+" sign on the lower left. Then, click on the DVMaxImages Mount and click Add. The DVMaxImages Mount should now appear under the list of items that will open automatically when you log in.
