  1. Select Abort on the Runtime Error.

  2. Reboot the DVMAX Server application by navigating to File> Quit (DVMAX>Quit if on a Mac server)

  3. Within “Disconnect from Server in” change 10 to 0 minutes and select OK.

  4. Once the server application fully quits, relaunch the server application.

  5. You should now be able to connect all client workstations.

  6. If you would like to turn off the logging component to prevent this error in the future, follow the steps below:

    1. Launch DVMAX Client

    2. Navigate to the Section menu, while holding down your Shift Key select System Constants.

    3. This will launch Advance settings within DVMAX, read the warning alert and select I understand

    4. Within the Settings tab, at the bottom of the window, use the filter to search for: internal.4DInfoComponent.use

    5. Within the Value field, double click on the word True

    6. Remove the word True and type in False

    7. The DVMAX server application will need to be relaunched again to fully disable the logging component is now disabled. Close out of Advance settings.

    8. When it is coinvent, reboot the DVMAX Server application:

      1. Close out of DVMAX Client on all workstations

      2. On the DVMAX Server application navigate to File> Quit (DVMAX>Quit if on a Mac server)

      3. Within “Disconnect from Server in” change 10 to 0 minutes and select OK.

    9. Once the server application fully quits, relaunch the server application.

    10. The 4D Server Logging Component is now disabled.
