1. Review System Requirements before proceeding: DVMAX v8.5 System Requirements for the Current DVMAX Release (Support for Mac OSX 10.6.8, 10.10.x, 10.11.x, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows XP Server 2003 has ended!)
   Get the Installer at your user site, http://users.dvmax.com
    
2. Perform our pre-install checklist - Pre-Install Checklist for Upgrading to DVMAX v8.8
3. Contact DVMAX Technical Support at 800-950-5455 for a link to the installer
4. Follow these instructions for performing the upgrade:

• Multi User - Upgrading to the Current DVMAX v8.5 Server Version from DVMAX v7.6 - 8.0.2 Server or higher
• Single User - Upgrading to the Current DVMAX v8 Single-User Version from DVMAX v7.6 or higher

Your version is: DVMAX v7.5 to 7.5.2

• View the new Appointment Scheduler videos - If you are upgrading from v7.5 or below we strongly recommend you review these videos with your staff. Along with the many new features of the appointment module in DVMAX v8, there are a few changes that staff members will need to be aware of in advance. We want to make sure that you and your staff understand the new Appointment Scheduler and all of its features BEFORE updating to DVMAX v8.8 - http://www.dvmax.com/Feature_ApptSched.html

• Review System Requirements: System Requirements for the Current DVMAX Release
• Submit the online upgrade form using the link - http://dvmax.com/V8UpgradeToV8Upgradeform.html (This form is only for v7.5 Users) 
• Review System Requirements before proceeding: DVMAX v8.5 System Requirements
   
• The instructions for installation and the link to the installer will be emailed after the online form is submitted. 
  

Your version is: DVMAX v7.0.12r4 to v7.0.12r6

• Complete the the Upgrade Questionnaire and  and return it to: DVMAXUpgrades@idexx.com
  
• Our upgrades department will review the questionnaire and contact you to discuss hardware changes that need to be made to meet new system requirements, or to schedule the upgrade.

1. Update your DVMAX to the last legacy version first. 
   1. If you're on version 7.0.10 or lower:
      1. Download Installers - Navigate to http://users.dvmax.com and download:
         • 7.0.12r6 Patch (Updater Only)

      2. Installing DVMAX 7.0.12r6 Server 
      3. Installing DVMAX Client
   2. If you're currently on version 7.0.11 - 7.0.12r3:   
      
      1. Download Installers - Navigate to http://users.dvmax.com and download:
         • 7.0.12r6 Patch (Updater Only)
      2. Contact DVMAX Technical Support at 800-950-5455 for a link to the installer
      3. Patching DVMAX 7.0.12r6 Server
      4. Installing DVMAX Client
2. Complete the Upgrade Questionnaire and return it to:  DVMAXUpgrades@idexx.com
