Paperless/Paper-lite

DVMAX has many features that allow a practice to become a paper-lite practice. The information compiled below will help you feel confident that you are using many of the features of DVMAX to be a successful paper-lite practice.

What is a paperless/paper-lite practice?

A paper-lite practice uses DVMAX to record medical histories for patients instead of recording data in paper charts. Diagnostic reports, records from other hospitals, and medical images are able to be stored in the patient record, and often times automatically downloaded to save time. We often refer to the paper-lite hospitals because we understand it is rare that all paper would be removed from use in the hospital.

How do I make the transition?

Hospitals make this transition in many different ways. The information in our knowledgebase will give you some guidelines for you to make the important decisions that work best for your practice.
